Intention allows you to focus on bringing something into your
life even if you do not know how it will be possible. When you
set an intention, you begin to move toward your desire. You do
this by activating your psyche — and all the energy of the
universe itself — to support you in your quest.
If you have
never set an Intention before here are some helpful tips:
1) Center your being and calm yourself in whatever way that is
appropriate for you. Sipping a cup of tea or simply meditating
for a moment may help.
2) If you don't already have a clear idea of your truest wishes
and desires, you may want to take some time before setting your
intention to meditate and give it some thought. Your written intention
should be clear and concise. It should be something that you can
repeat word for word.
3) Another way to strengthen your intention is to start a
journal dedicated solely to your intentions and desires. If you
find it difficult to write at first, try pasting in pictures or
magazine clippings of things that you want to manifest in your
life.
Remember to reflect very carefully on what it is that you
desire. Examine all motives. Use your third eye and your third
ear. Get quiet often. Look and listen. Become aware. Be sure
that your desires serve your Higher Self and your True Purpose.
Setting an intention is very powerful. The way that it is
manifested may come to you under many guises. Often change
ensues...and change is often perceived as being painful.
Therefore, you must become a true spiritual warrior in order to
manifest your deepest desires. Don't miss your opportunities
because they don't come in pretty packages.
Don't be afraid...what will come to you is already yours. You
have but to claim it.
